Terms of Service
Last updated: September 29, 2026
What you and the company behind cheerfulshopping.com agree to, on every visit and every order, is written on this page. It is written in the same plain form as the rest of the site, so that a rule can be found in a minute. Numbers live on the policy pages linked below, each number on the page that owns it, and this page does not repeat them.
Agreement: this page, plus the 6 policy pages it links
Parts: 7. No more. This page, the Shipping Policy, the Refund and Returns Policy, the Payment Policy, the Privacy Policy, the Disclaimer and the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. An order, a new account, a review or a message through the form counts as acceptance of all 7 as they read that day. The date under the title marks the version in force. Earlier versions are not kept on the site, and no change reaches back to an order that came before it.
Seller: MEGAN FAYE WARD LLC of Little Rock, Arkansas
The seller on every order is MEGAN FAYE WARD LLC, a limited liability company with its office at 815 Reeder Rd, Little Rock, AR 72206, trading as Cheerful Shopping. It is the merchant of record. The charge on your card, the order emails, the replies and any refund all come from it, and the supply partners that pack the parcels are its suppliers, not parties to this agreement. Its tax number and every way to reach it appear under the seller details that end this page.
Who can order: adults, with a delivery address inside the service area
Age: 18 or over. Address: a street address in the contiguous United States or in the District of Columbia, since that is where the checkout can deliver; what falls outside is listed in the Shipping Policy. Purpose: a lawful one, and the 4 conduct rules further down say what that excludes. Ordering for someone else is fine, and the person who places the order is our customer under these Terms. Guest checkout needs no account. An account is optional. Where you open one, its password is yours to guard, so an order placed through it counts as an order placed by you.
What is for sale: the catalog as it stands on the day you order
Today the catalog is women's dresses, 30 styles in 3 collections, each listed with its sizes, its colors, its measurements in inches and a care line. These Terms cover every item sold through the site on the day of your order, whatever the catalog holds that day, and a page that says "dress" applies to any item sold in its place. A new collection joins under the same rules from its listing day onward, as the About page explains. Product pictures come from the partners' own stock, some of the on-model pictures are rendered by software, and the Disclaimer says what a picture can and cannot promise.
Prices: US dollars, as shown on the page at the moment you order
Dollars. Neither tax nor shipping is in the price; those 2 lines are added at checkout, in the open, and the Payment Policy describes the total that is charged. The price that binds an order is the price on the page when you place it. A price can move afterward, up or down, and neither move touches an order already made: no adjustment for a later drop, no extra charge for a later rise. No price here is printed beside an older one. There is none to show.
A pricing error: cancelled, refunded in full, and explained
30 pages, kept by hand, and a price can be mistyped. It happens. Where a price is plainly wrong, a $6.99 tag on a $69.99 dress, say, the order is not shipped at that price. It is cancelled, every dollar goes back to the card within 3 business days, and an email tells you what went wrong. You may then order the dress at the correct price, or not, as you please.
An order: an offer from you, accepted at dispatch
An order is an offer. Nothing more, yet. The confirmation email records it, and acceptance happens when the supply partner dispatches the parcel, at the moment the tracking number comes into being. Between those 2 moments an order can be declined for 3 reasons and no others: the size sold out before packing, the address lies outside the area the Shipping Policy describes, or the payment failed a fraud check. A declined order is refunded whole within 3 business days, with an email naming the reason.
Cancelling: 24 hours from the order
Within 24 hours of ordering, 1 email quoting the order number is enough to cancel, and the refund leaves the same business day. After 24 hours the partner has begun packing, and the Refund and Returns Policy takes over with its 30 days for a return.
Discount codes: 1 per order, no cash value
The code box at checkout takes 1 code per order. A code emailed to you, the welcome code or the birthday code among them, is yours to use or to ignore; it cannot be exchanged for cash, and it can be withdrawn for future orders, never against an order already placed.
Delivery and returns: 2 policies that belong to this page
The Shipping Policy and the Refund and Returns Policy belong to these Terms, and they hold the numbers: 9 to 15 business days from order to door, $5.95 or $0 for shipping, import duty paid before dispatch, 30 days to return, $0 restocking, and the timing of each refund. A dispatch that runs late is handled under the Federal Trade Commission's rule on mail, internet and telephone orders, and the choice between waiting and a full refund is yours. Title in a dress becomes yours when the payment clears; the risk of loss in transit stays ours until the carrier records delivery at your address.
Accounts and points: optional, and a counter that buys nothing
An account is never required. Where you open one, it keeps your addresses, your orders and a points counter that the store software fills on its own: 100 points when the account opens, 1 point for every $1 of dresses on a paid order, multiplied at the Silver, Gold and Platinum tiers, and 50 points when a review of yours is approved. The counter is a record, not a currency. It buys nothing. No checkout box accepts points, no price falls because of them, and they carry no cash value, so nothing is owed to you on their account and they close with the account. Should points ever become spendable, this page changes before any point can be spent.
Reviews: written by customers, read before they appear
Each product page carries a Reviews tab, open to anyone who has worn the dress. A review is read by us before it is published, and the only reasons to hold a review back are abuse, material unrelated to the dress, or personal information about another person. Low ratings stay up. We write none ourselves, buy none, and remove none for being critical, which the Federal Trade Commission's rule on consumer reviews and testimonials requires and which we would do regardless. By posting, you allow us to show the review on the site, under the name you give, for as long as the dress is listed. The 50 points an approved review adds to an account counter are described above and have no bearing on whether it is published.
Content and use: what belongs to whom, and what the site is not for
The words on this site are ours. The product pictures belong to the supply partners and appear with their permission; the collection and banner images were made for Cheerful Shopping. Reading a page, printing it, sharing it for yourself: all fine. Not fine: lifting the catalog, scraping the site, reselling its pictures, or passing its text off as your own.
A copyright notice: 5 things to send
If a picture or a text here infringes a copyright you hold, email contact@cheerfulshopping.com with the subject "Copyright notice" and 5 things: the work you own; the web address on our site where the copy appears; your name and a way to reach you; your statement of a good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized; and your signed statement, given on penalty of perjury, that the work is yours or that its owner has authorized you. That is the notice the Digital Millennium Copyright Act describes. Within 2 business days the material is taken off the site while we look into it.
Conduct: 4 things the site is not for
Not for fraud, including a card you are not allowed to use or a chargeback on a dress you kept. Not for abuse of the people who answer the email and the phone. Not for automated traffic that loads pages faster than a person reads them. Not for posting anyone else's personal information in a review or a message. An order that breaks 1 of these can be cancelled and refunded, and an account can be closed, with an email saying why.
Warranties and liability: the product page is the promise, and the order is the ceiling
What we promise about a dress is what its page says. The style, the color you chose, the measurements in the chart, the fabric line and the care line. A dress that does not match its page is handled under the Refund and Returns Policy at our cost. Beyond that, no other warranty is given, and the implied warranties that your state's law provides run for as long as that law says, since these Terms cannot shorten them. For any claim about an order, the ceiling on our liability is the order's own total, shipping line included. Costs that follow on from a dress that arrived late, went missing or turned out faulty, an outfit bought elsewhere for the occasion among them, are not ours to cover, and neither is damage a dress suffers from a wash or a wear its care label forbids. Nothing here limits a liability that consumer law forbids a seller to limit, or removes a right that cannot be waived.
Indemnity: 3 acts that make a third party's claim yours to pay
3 acts, and no others: a card used without its holder's permission, a review or a message that infringes another person's right, or a commercial use of our pictures or our text. Should any of the 3 lead a third party to make a claim on us, the cost of answering that claim, reasonable legal fees among the costs, is yours, and we tell you of the claim before we answer it. The list ends there. A dispute about a dress, a parcel or a refund is never an act of yours in this sense; it runs under the policies above, at our cost where the fault is ours.
Law, disputes and changes: Arkansas, Pulaski County, and 30 days of email first
Arkansas law governs these Terms and each order made under them, its conflict-of-law rules aside, together with the federal consumer law that applies to a US seller. Email first. A dispute goes to email before it goes anywhere else: write to contact@cheerfulshopping.com, quote the order number, and say what you want put right, and we have 30 days to answer and settle it before either side files anything. A dispute that email does not settle goes to the courts, state or federal, that sit in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and both sides accept those courts. Arbitration is not imposed here, and no class action is waived; we would sooner answer in an ordinary court. A consumer whose own state law entitles them to sue at home keeps that right.
Changes: dated, and never backward
Never backward. A revision of these Terms shows up as a new date under the title and governs every order placed after it. Where a revision touches a live promise, the delivery window or the return window, say, notice goes up on the site before the revision starts. An order placed earlier keeps the wording of its own day.
The rest: severability, the whole agreement, no waiver
1 clause struck out, the rest stands. This page and the 6 policies it links are the whole agreement about an order; a line typed in the chat bubble or a marketing email adds nothing to them unless it also appears here. Letting a breach pass once does not give up the right to act on the next one.
