Shipping Policy

To the person about to order a dress from us: a dress bought here travels a long way, and this letter follows it from the partner's shelf to your door. Every figure below is printed on the dress page and again at checkout. Same numbers, 3 places.

Origin: supply partners in China

Stock: none in Arkansas. Each dress waits on a supply partner's shelf in China until it is ordered; the partner then picks the size, checks the seams and the print, folds the dress into its bag and books the carrier, and a tracking number exists only from that point. Little Rock is an office. It reads the inbox, answers the phone and takes in returns, and it ships nothing.

Import duty: settled before dispatch

Duty: paid on our side. Every parcel goes out Delivered Duty Paid, so the import duty and the import tax on your dress are cleared before the flight, and the total you saw at checkout is the total that leaves your card. Nobody bills you at delivery. Should a driver try, refuse, note the carrier's name and any reference number, and tell us that day. The argument is ours to have.

Delivery: 9 to 15 business days

Packing: 2 to 4 business days. Transit: 7 to 11 more. The 2 ranges laid end to end give the 9 and the 15 that every product page repeats, and most parcels land somewhere near the middle of that range. Weekends and the US federal holidays never count. There is no faster option to buy, because a single dress cannot be flown out of China any quicker for $5.95 or for $50.

Cut-off: 4:00 PM (CT), Monday to Friday

The line is 4:00 PM Central time. An order in before it on a weekday counts that weekday as day 1 of packing; an order that comes in later, over the weekend or during a federal holiday, starts its count on the next weekday.

Delays we can name: 2 Chinese holidays, and the weather

2 holidays close the partners every year: the National Day week that opens October, and Lunar New Year, late January or February depending on the year. Orders placed in the days before either leave later than usual, by an amount that differs from year to year, so as each holiday nears we add a line to this page, and we quote no figure we cannot stand behind. A storm, a customs check or a backlog at the carrier slows the transit leg now and then. When we can see your parcel stuck, you get an email saying so, and an order that has not left yet can be cancelled for a full refund on request.

Your rights when we run late: the FTC Mail Order Rule

There is a federal rule behind our dates. The Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule of the Federal Trade Commission requires a seller to ship inside the time it advertises; where it cannot, it must say so, name a fresh date, and leave the buyer free to wait or to take a full refund. Every order of ours that slips is handled to that rule. You do not have to cite it.

Cost: $5.95 per order, or $0 from $55

Under $55 in dresses: $5.95. At $55 or more: $0. The $55 is the sum of the dress prices before tax and before a discount code, and the fee is per order, so a second or a third dress in the same box adds nothing. 2 of the least expensive dresses, $28.99 each, reach $57.98 together and ship for $0. No handling fee, no packaging fee, no fuel surcharge. The shipping line in the order summary is the shipping line on your card.

Delivery area: 48 states and Washington, DC, by street address

Served: street addresses in the 48 contiguous states and in Washington, DC, and nothing outside them appears in the state menu at checkout. Not served yet: Alaska, Hawaii, the territories (Puerto Rico among them), military APO, FPO and DPO addresses, and any address outside the United States. A PO Box cannot take a parcel on this route either, so if the address line holds one, we ask you for a street address first and the partner packs after you answer.

Tracking: 1 number, emailed at the partner's outbound scan

1 number, the whole trip. It is created at the partner's outbound scan, at the end of packing, and emailed to you in that same minute; before then there is nothing to look up, and the quiet is normal. The number covers a tracked international line on the long leg and USPS inside the United States. Scans are thin while the parcel is airborne or waiting at a hub and turn daily once USPS has it. The Track an order page shows the same events against your order number and email.

Sales tax: set by the delivery state

Tax follows the delivery address. In a state that requires us to collect it, the tax shows up as a separate line of the summary before you pay; in states where our checkout carries no rate, no line appears at all. It is charged on the dresses, never on the shipping fee, and never folded into a price. No import tax sits on top, because duty was handled under the terms above.

Problems: 6 cases, each with its own deadline

Address correction: 24 hours

Window: 24 hours from the order, the same window that covers cancelling. Send the right address plus your order number; the correction happens before packing. Past 24 hours the parcel is booked, an international parcel cannot be rerouted mid-flight, and whatever reaches the address you typed is treated as delivered, so please look twice at the ZIP code and the apartment or unit line before you confirm. A parcel that bounces back to us over an incomplete address is settled under the Refund and Returns Policy.

Damage on arrival: 7 days

Window: 7 days from delivery. Send us the order number and 2 photographs, 1 of the damage and 1 of the outer box, and pick either a replacement dress or every dollar back, shipping too. The damaged dress normally stays with you.

Marked delivered, nothing there: 48 hours

The scan can beat the parcel by a day. Give it 48 hours, check with whoever else lives at the address and with the building's front desk if there is one, and if nothing has turned up, message us and quote the order number; a search opens at the carrier, and a parcel the carrier writes off as lost is replaced with a new dress or refunded to the last dollar, whichever you prefer.

No new scan for 7 business days: a trace

International tracking goes quiet for days at a time. 7 business days without a fresh scan is our threshold: quote the order number to us, and the trace request reaches the carrier the same business day.

Later than business day 15: tell us

Business day 15 come and gone with no parcel: tell us, order number included. We go to the carrier and report back what we learned and what happens next.

A size sold out after you ordered: 2 business days

Stock lives with the partner, so now and then a size runs out in the gap between the order and the packing. Within 2 business days you hear from us with 3 choices: wait for a restock, pick a different size or dress at no extra cost, or cancel for a refund of everything, shipping included. We do not substitute on our own.

Each of these 6 cases gets a first reply within 12 hours on business days. The fix itself, a new dress dispatched or a refund issued, follows within 5 business days of our having the order number and the photographs: up to 2 to approve the claim, then 3 to issue the refund or book the dress.

Returns: 30 days, starting at delivery

A dress can come back to our Little Rock office within 30 days of the delivery scan, restocking fee $0, once a return authorization has reached you by email. The postage falls to whoever caused the return, and the Refund and Returns Policy prices each reason.

That is the trip, start to finish. A question about a parcel already on its way moves fastest with the order number in the first line of the email.
